Is BYOK really free? I see a pricing page.
Yes — BYOK costs nothing from Quendian. You pay your AI provider (like OpenAI) directly for their API usage. This page covers Quendian Cloud, which handles transcription and summarization for you at a flat monthly rate — no API key needed.
How are Cloud minutes counted?
Each minute of audio transcribed using the Quendian Cloud preset counts toward your monthly allotment. BYOK transcription — using your own API key — is always free and doesn't count toward your Cloud minutes.
Can I switch tiers or cancel?
Yes to both. Switch or cancel anytime from Apple Settings (if you subscribed via App Store) or the Paddle portal (if you subscribed directly). Canceling stops future renewals — access continues until your current period ends.
What's the refund policy?
Apple handles App Store refunds. For web subscriptions via Paddle, we offer 14-day refunds on accounts that have used less than 10% of their tier's monthly Cloud allotment — see Support.
